Brands

Free brand guidelines builder: logos, colors, Google or Adobe fonts and voice, plus a color wheel that finds missing colors, contrast checks and token exports.

About Toolbench Brands

Toolbench Brands is a free brand guidelines builder. Add your logos, colors, fonts and voice, and it plots your palette on an animated color wheel, suggests colors you may have missed, checks every combination for WCAG contrast, and exports CSS variables, Tailwind, SCSS and design tokens — then shares a clean, printable guide.

What’s in a brand kit

  • Logos — every version (primary, mark, wordmark, reversed), previewed on your own brand colors, with clear-space and minimum-size rules.
  • Colors — named colors with roles, HEX/RGB/HSL/OKLCH values and 50–950 tint and shade scales.
  • Color wheel — your palette on the wheel, animated harmonies, gap detection and one-click suggestions.
  • Typography — Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts, live specimens and a modular type scale.
  • Accessibility — a full contrast matrix, the best text color for every swatch and safe brand pairings.
  • Voice — personality, audience, elevator pitch, and do’s and don’ts.
  • Export & share — tokens for developers, a print/PDF guide and an optional read-only link.

Frequently asked questions

What is a brand guidelines builder?

A brand guidelines builder keeps a company’s logos, colors, fonts and voice in one place and turns them into a guide people can follow. Toolbench Brands also checks color accessibility, suggests missing colors and exports design tokens.

Can I use Adobe Fonts or Google Fonts?

Yes. Type a Google Fonts family name (with optional weights), or paste your Adobe Fonts web project link from use.typekit.net plus the family name. Fonts load live in every preview and in your shared guide.

How does the color wheel find colors I missed?

It plots your palette on a color wheel, finds the biggest empty stretch of hues, checks for roles every brand needs (neutrals, an accessible text color, success, warning and error), and generates harmonies — complementary, analogous, triadic, split-complementary and tetradic — from your primary color.

Can I share my brand guide?

Yes. Turn on the public link to share a read-only guide with designers, agencies or partners. It is not indexed by search engines, and you can turn it off at any time. You can also print it or save it as a PDF.

What can I export?

CSS custom properties, SCSS variables, a Tailwind theme, W3C-style design tokens (JSON) and font link tags. Every color includes an 11-step tint and shade scale from 50 to 950.

Is it free, and who can see my brand kits?

It is free. Brand kits are private to your account (Google sign-in) unless you switch on a public link. Logos are stored in private storage.
