About the Serialized Data Fixer
The Serialized Data Fixer search-replaces inside PHP-serialized strings — such as WordPress options and widget data — and recalculates the s:N string lengths so the data doesn’t break. It’s built for domain changes and site migrations.

Privacy
Everything runs in your browser: what you type or paste is processed by JavaScript on your device, not on a server. If you are signed out, nothing is saved at all. If you sign in with Google, your inputs and settings are saved privately to your account so they sync across devices.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Serialized Data Fixer free?
Yes. Serialized Data Fixer is completely free with no sign-up, no usage limits and no watermarks.
Is my data private?
Yes. The Serialized Data Fixer processes everything in your browser. Signed out, nothing is saved; signed in, your inputs sync privately to your own account.
Why does a plain search-replace break serialized data?
Serialized PHP stores the byte length of every string (s:20:"…"). If the text changes length but the number doesn’t, PHP can’t unserialize it and WordPress silently loses the setting.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Toolbench runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone — there is nothing to install.
