About the Carousel Splitter

The Carousel Splitter cuts one wide image or video into equal cards for a seamless swipe carousel on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn. Choose 2 to 20 cards in square, 4:5 or 16:9, drag to frame the panorama, and download numbered cards as a ZIP — or, for LinkedIn, a ready-to-upload PDF document carousel. It runs entirely in your browser.

How to use the Carousel Splitter

  1. Pick the platform: Instagram (up to 20 cards), Facebook (up to 10) or LinkedIn (PDF, up to 20).
  2. Choose a card size and how many cards the panorama should span.
  3. Choose or drop a wide image (or a video for Instagram and Facebook), then drag and zoom to frame it.
  4. Click Cut, swipe through the preview, and download the cards as a ZIP or a LinkedIn PDF.
  5. Upload the cards in number order, left to right, as one carousel post.

Privacy

Your image or video never leaves your device: cards, the ZIP and the PDF are built by your browser, and everything is discarded when you close or reload the page.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Carousel Splitter free?

Yes. Carousel Splitter is completely free with no sign-up, no usage limits and no watermarks.

Is my data private?

Your image or video never leaves your device: cards, the ZIP and the PDF are built by your browser, and everything is discarded when you close or reload the page.

How do I make a seamless carousel?

Start with one wide image (a panorama or a design that spans several slides), split it into equal cards with the same aspect ratio, and upload them in order as a single carousel. Because the edges match, the picture flows continuously as people swipe.

How many slides can a carousel have?

Instagram and LinkedIn document posts allow up to 20, and Facebook up to 10. The tool limits the card count to whatever the platform you pick supports.

How do I post a carousel on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn carousels are PDF documents. Pick LinkedIn, cut your image, click “Download PDF (LinkedIn)”, then create a post, choose “Add a document” and upload the PDF. Each card becomes one swipeable page.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The cards, ZIP and PDF are all built in your browser, and nothing is kept after you close the page.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Toolbench runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone — there is nothing to install.
